Is the toothpaste out of the tube? Will every mid-major recruiter point to this year and what is possible? Will next season end with more than 2 valley teams in the final poll? Has the scholies limit finally evened things up? Has the early-out to the NBA changed to talent level. Has TV access with cable, ESPN full court, sports bars with a dish taken away the exposure advantage? Was this the equivalent of breaking the 4 minute mile and now the line will get left in the rear view mirror? Is having a good player 4 years after his high school grad better than a McD's all-american for 1 or 2? Has college Bball changed or was this as good as it gets for the mids?
I hate the mid-major term too but I think it is here to stay, or we could become like Prince and be known as the team formerlly known as... I look for this season to be a lanching pad not only for Bradley but all mids. I look forward to the next milestones; 5 valley teams in, 2 mids in the final 4, 2 mids from one conference in the final 4, an all mid regional, dare I say a national title. Go Braves. I will always remember 05-06.
