I guess it works if you've got the right guy leading the program. That's a lot of transfers!

Kruger no longer fights the recruiting wars in Chicago. His current roster includes seven Division I transfers and two former junior college players. His D-I transfers include two from UCLA and one each from Kentucky, Iowa State, Kansas, Memphis and St. Joseph's.

Anyway -- Lon had better beat his old team because if the best it gets you is a bid & an 8th seed -- then bounced out -- I am thinking the UNLV fans expect more

The MVC regular season champs had a starting lineup consisting of 4 transfers:
Mallett - JuCo
Ricks - JuCo
Creekmore - Boston
Leonard - Eastern Kentucky

But next year's roster might leave a lot to be desired...

SIU reloaded quickly over the past couple years with jucos and a couple transfers and it was not a good decision
