Top moments in State of Illinois NCAA Tourney history

I didn't have to look at that list to know who number 1 is. Loyola will always be number 1 until Bradley, Illinois, SIU or ISU does it too. And it was against Cincinnati, a MVC team at the time and I'm almost certain that game was not on TV, listened to it on the radio. When the TV money started, it changed everything. But anyway, as a kid growing up I loved sports (still do), MVC basketball and Bradley and that was the sole reason I wanted to go to Bradley, to watch big time college basketball and then I discovered the College Inn which was a fun place to hang out after the games. Even saw my HS win the State baseball championship while at Bradley. I hope we play Loyola again this year, they are good friends of ours.
 
The games were on TV in the 50's and 60's, but seldom carried live or nationally. In many instances the feeds were regional and many times they would not air until 11PM or later.
