A couple reports from some of this weekend's private workouts, suggest Boston is really anxious to see Patrick next weekend, as they haven't seen anyone else they like any better. They are also looking very closely at Marcus Williams UConn PG and Shelden Williams.

The Jazz host Patrick O'Bryant tomorrow (Monday) for a private workout, along with Hilton Armstrong of UConn, Shelden Williams of Duke, and Saer Sene' The Jazz have the 14th pick.

The Rockets at pick #8 are hoping POB is still available so they will have him as an option.

Sportsbook.com has posted the odds for who is the likeliest player to be saelected FIRST OVERALL, and Patrick has the 8th lowest odds:

2006 NBA DRAFT - WHO WILL BE FIRST OVERALL PICK

LaMarcus Aldridge (Texas) 2-1
Andrea Bargnani (Italy) 9-4
Tyrus Thomas (LSU) 9-4
Adam Morrison (Gonzaga) 3-1
Brandon Roy (Washington) 10-1
Rudy Gay (Connecticut) 12-1
Randy Foye (Villanova) 15-1
Patrick O'Bryant (Bradley) 20-1
Marcus Williams (Connecticut) 20-1
Shelden Williams (Duke) 25-1
Ronnie Brewer (Arkansas) 30-1
Rodney Carney (Memphis) 30-1
JJ Reddick (Duke) 50-1

Lamarcus Aldridge was found in one of his predraft evaluations to have a "bad back". Some condition that is perhaps hereditary, but when this info was announced, immediately Aldridge fell several places in some mock drafts, from #1 or #2 to #5-10.

POB still hovering around #10-12, but some other interesting stuff surrounds Tyrus Thomas who has refused to work out for certain teams, and therefore others have refused to even invite the guy.
That causes some to think he is avoiding direct exam, and may be lessening his stock. Da Coach talked about this in another post.
