since when do you get a technical foul for yelling at your player to get up ?

I guess running halfway across the floor yelling the fbomb you at a ref doesn't get you kicked out. The valley refs are horrible!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
 
Yes, the T shouldnt have been called but again, we had an 8 pt lead with like 2min and change to go, you just gotta find a way finish it somehow, and we just do not know how to do it
 
I just got home. I live 25 minutes from the arena. It's almost 11pm!!!! The officiating played way too much of a role in this game.

BUT............bad officiating or no, BU still found yet another way to squander a lead at home. It's deja vu all over again, and again, and again, and again, and again, and again..........
 
I guess in the same game when your team's ineptitude put the game on the line when it should have been ovah... BU put itself in a position to be screwed by the refs, and they obliged...

It was 8 with 1:19 left...everything else here rings true though. Our guards went 0-4 from the FT line after that point.
 
This season really sucks I AM NOT A PRO LES GUY BUT GIVE THE GUY A BREAK. I am not saying we as bradley fans shouldn't want to win every game but lets be real. what we have is a driver warren to a bike without two tires. ALL the haters will be on the bandwagon when they do well next year the true fans support the program no matter what.

Maybe not win every game, but a game against our rival, who is just as bad as we are, with an 8 point lead with just over a minute left, and it is partially the coach's fault with the timing of a technical, yadda yadda yadda. SSDD(Same **** Different Day). I could understand if we laid an egg against Evansville or Drake, or Wichita or Creighton, but to a RIVAL that is very BEATABLE is inexcusable PERIOD.

So all the ISU techs..all fair...

BU's was totally wrong.

The no clock start giving BU a huge advantage...thats fair too..

A few posters have asked why posts get deleted.
This is an example of the kind of post that we do not allow. It insults the coach, and it insults the previous poster.
I know there is frustration, but it is possible to voice opinions without stooping to this kind of derision.
 
The refs had already given Les a bench warning. Les was out of the box yelling at Egolf and i'm sure he gave a dirty look at the refs also. Quite frankly, Les shouldn't have been that fired up, Bradley was within 1 possession of taking fouls the rest of the game. Les should have realized that BU was up by 8 points with 1:40 left and needed to keep his cool.

On that note, I don't plan on attending any more BU games until Les is fired. I can't stand his coaching style and multiple coaching mistakes every single game. Losing 2 starters shouldn't make you have almost the worst season on record. I'm sure their is a coach out there that can bring talent out of this group. Obviously they wouldn't arrive in enough time this season but plenty of time before next season. I've been to every BU home game the last 5 years and saddened that it has come to this point but that's just the way it is.

Then DELETE IT! I am as much a proponent of the sacking of Les ASAP, but this was a little over the line!

EDIT: Oops, my bad, it was deleted after posting this. Good on ya. People like this make me angry.

Yeah, missing two starters should hinder you, but there's no way it should prevent you from winning at least ONE Valley contest. Injury excuses can't be used anymore imo.

I'm right with you...

I've never been so angry or said so many four letter words in my life at the close of a game...

Throwing money at an obviously failing product is a waste in my mind at this point and until something substantial takes shape, I will probably watch from afar and have my long time season tickets lapse...

I've just had it and no excuse he gives anymore am I going to agree with because it's not just one thing, it's a collective group of things over the years and this may have perhaps been the final straw...

Who yells at a guy trying to make a play anyways when you're up 8 with barely a minute to play?!


Oh well...there's always baseball
