Schools already unveiling their non-conference schedules

ISU plays in the Paradise Jam in the US Virgin Islands this coming season...
the tournament bracket was just revealed...

ISU opens against Weber State, then if they win (and they should) they advance to play the winner of LSU & Old Dominion.
This is actually a pretty bad pairing as ISU is the only mid-major team in the Paradise Jam that does not get paired in the 1st round
with a power-conference team - and could conceivably finish out the entire tournament and not play any of the BCS-teams.

They had extra room on their schedule after canceling the remaining game with ISU :mad:. Great work by our former AD to sign a contract that allowed them to get out of coming to R.A. with no buyout penalty.
 
I hear ya - but it is a fact of life that so few of those power-conference guys would come to play at an MVC school..

Rutgers' first year in the Big Ten has a really weak non-conf. schedule - figures
..another interesting Big Ten game - Indiana hosts SMU - Lamar also visits Indiana but Pat (& Bob) Knight are gone..Lamar has 3 Indiana kids on their roster,
SMU has four kids from Indiana & Illinois...I suspect this game is a little gift for Nic Moore
 
nice schedule from the travel standpoint unless more are added....
- only twice does the team even have to leave the state....
Once for the trip to Las Vegas, then the road game at Iona...all the rest are on the home floor, in Indy, and Muncie..

Xavier really stepping it up landing half a dozen BCS opponents in addition to their Big East slate - Alabama, Mizzou, Auburn, Cincy, a couple games in the Wooden Legacy (several BCS teams) plus even their mid-major opponents (FGCU, Murray State, SF Austin, Long Beach State) are mostly strong ones..
