Remy Abell to Indiana.

Not surprising -- probably got some promises of playing time with Maurice Creek's knees falling apart --
now it'll be interesting to see who gets their scholarship taken away -- they can fit Remy in this year -- but they're way oversigned for 2012...and almost everyone's a shooting guard!

BTW -- nice find and quick reporting Jeff -- as always you had it first and the others just copy and paste...

Well, I wish this kid well. As long as BU gets back on track in the next couple years, it won't seem as big a loss as it does now.

Keeping DSE for the next couple years means more to me than getting Remy, though having him (Remy) could give us a better chance to finish top half in the Valley. Still possible though.
 
Let's hope Remy and Matt Roth don't get into an argument about who gets the better seat on the Indiana bench!
 
Crean couldn't get Nic Moore to decommit and go to prep school for a year and get this in 2012, so he got the second best option ;)

I recall seeing a few post the day JL was fired that Remy would go to Indiana... but was deleted ASAP. Some people knew he was gone and where he was going.

Anyway, bummer to lose Remy. I thought he would be an absolute stud for us, but what's done is done, let's move forward. Good luck to RA at IU, maybe they can climb out of the cellar?
 
He'd rather go to IU than Bradley...no skin of my nose. Good luck to him. The program will move on. We've had plenty of recruits not pick Bradley that we thought would bring us to the next level...Darius Smith, Wilkins, etc. Unlike those listed I hope he has some success there, but again I'd rather have someone that wants to represent Bradley and not someone who let themselves be smuggled away by a cheater who was cheating. He let the snake in the door and now he's made his decision..time will tell if it was the right one. I would've had much more respect for him had he chose a butler or a WKU.....now I'm more on the fence that believes he saw this as an opportunity to go bigger.

Yes, like I have said, it helps to have a several month head start on re-recruiting Remy. :)

LOL - We can wait until they play against each other. I for one will not care. I'll be spending my limited time following "Our Bradley Braves!"

Nothing against those kids but they are no longer worthy of my time, not that they care either.
