The Bo Kimble one-handed FT's in the NCAA Tournament are such a wonderful salute. Every time they show those on replay puts a catch in my throat.
 
Kimble's left handed ft (if I remember right) was classy!


One of the craziest basketball games that I have ever seen was the Loyola Marymount-LSU game during the regular season that year.
 
Yes, they were left-handed. . .Gathers was notorious for struggling at the FT line. He was right-handed, so he worked on FTs until he was able to hit them with with confidence one-handed on the left.

In the movie, there's a scene when he shows off his newly developed skill to Kimble and he says: "If the right one don't get ya, the left one will."
