I'm hoping for Evansville first instead of Drake. For that to happen though, we need to lose to Drake and ISU has to win at Evansville. Drake also has to beat Evansville tomorrow.

I am thinking the same now. You can't get swept by ISU again. Unacceptable, even with the injuries.
Well we have been playing better of late, and we only lost by one tonight. How we lost tonight though is not acceptable, wasting a great defensive effort with an offense that looked like we never shot a ball into the hoop. Oh well. I guess it's better than losing by 20 to this team.
Well I always have some hope because we did beat Creighton, SIU and Evansville, three teams that are definitely better than us, especially Evansville. And on a neutral court, who knows? Not saying we win the conference championship, but just to continue to build towards next year.

You have to wonder what Sat will be like. How much desire will this team have with everything sealed besides it being senior night. They could play hard for their last home game, but this just has to drain on everyone.
Also, have we noticed the common denominator in us losing these games to ISU at the end as in who has always taken the end shots that we still can't stop.

I guess that makes isu the team nobody wants to play since they beat us twice.
Good for you for supporting this team through thick, and especially thin DeltaBrave03! I think a lot of fans still enjoy going to the games even though we have been bad this year.
And you're right, we know this is a bad team. But I thought we were turning the corner a bit, but we have a lot of the same issues as earlier this season. Still though, losing by 1 is better than getting blown out FWIW. But hopefully we can sweep Drake the next couple of games to at least end the year on a high note. What direction the administration decides to go next year will be answered soon, but at least the team can continue to try to get better in the meantime.

The silent majority that want change are tired of remaining quiet......I think the roar is just going to continue to get louder. THis thing is going to get uglier beofre it gets any better....
here's the thing. People think some are taking joy in this. Nothing could be further from the truth. I was just talking to someone who said, it's amazing it took some people until tonight to realize a change was needed.
This thing has been trending down since after the S16. There is no joy in this. BU needs to make a move to stop the flood.

Honestly I think, talent, size, and defense are more than adequate for this league. The others are questionable. I have to admit though even without SM and TB I would expect a bit more from this team with my expectations of WE, AW, DSE, and to a lesser degree JP coming into the season..
