Agreed! (Guess it qualifies a bit more as "random!) I didn't think it would be a problem at such a big school as Notre Dame and at a FOOTBALL game where there are 82,000+ people crammed in a bowl, but I was shocked the first year I went (against Purdue) that they have the same sort of problem. Last year was great, if there was really a "wake up the echoes" moment I was a part of it when USC came to Notre Dame Stadium for the first Night Game in 21 Years, they experimented with using piped in music (got old, I still love the Band!) but as they blasted Shipping Up to Boston right before opening kickoff and the towels were waving there was a sense that the group that wanted to stay seated was going to have to sit down and shut up that night! In fact someone behind me heard someone yell "SIT DOWN! I CAN'T SEE THE PLAY!" ANd about 20 people yelled SHUT UP! Back at him!

They lost but the atmosphere was electric!
