Agreed..this is a great hire by the Bluejays..Will love to see the matchup(s) again with BU this year.
The BU team returns essentially everyone just like the jays. If now Forward Bryan Gaul keeps it up...the MLS scouts will want to show up to see him and obviously Creighton's star.
Would love to see affiliate membership from SMU and Tulsa again (or similar quality programs) to boost the MVC soccer conference. SIUE was a very nice addition..
Creighton has always emphasized men's soccer success and has had a ton of it. They draw good attendance and are generally regarded as one of the top programs in the country.
Without football, men's soccer gets full attention there, unlike UNC, despite the huge success they've had in Chapel Hill.
I would also think he's getting a pay raise, believe it or not.
UNC has a nice facility, but it's not close to Creighton's. - that also could have been one consideration.
"I'm ready for a new challenge in my life, and Creighton has committed itself to making their men's soccer team a national powerhouse," Bolowich said in the release. "I'd like to help take them there as I have done at Carolina."
