OT - ESPN The Magazine and ESPN Insider for a year for $1.99

Wow great deal! Thanks for sharing! They must be looking to boost those subscription numbers to sell some more advertising.

Appreciate it... but consider me stupid... how do you get the user name and password for insider? Do they ship it to you or did I just completely miss that part of it?

Edit: nevermind... found it

Thanks BradleyBrave! Just ordered mine too, mainly for the Insider as I'm not a huge fan of their magazine. But it's still good reading material on a rainy day. :)

I contacted them like 2 weeks ago and they replied back with please allow 6-8 for shipping. and then I asked about the Insider access and they said there would be a code on the first issue when it arrives. Should be soon though...

I haven't gotten my ESPN the Magazine yet, either. I did order a couple of other things off that site and they came pretty quickly and in good shape! I was thinking with the timing of the deal it might be a subscription starting in January hoping to get you to renew next Xmas season..

If it helps ease anyones worries, I have purchased 2 other things from dailysteals.com and have recieved both of them.

that is crap. my friends and I all split the mag and online subscription for 5 bucks each awhile back.

Is the ESPN insider worth it? (not talking about the $1.99 deal) I think that if you follow certain sportswriters on twitter, you can get the same information. I have found that sportswriters love to be the first to break news on twitter.

I enjoy insider to the fullest. Some of the articles are soooo long and detailed.

I also like acting like I know a bunch and bragging that I am an insider.

For 5 bucks I find it worthwhile.

I sent another e-mail the other day and got this response today:

Hi
Please allow 8-12 weeks to receive your first Magazine subscription.

Thank You
