Last I heard was 2 inches...I hope, and don't expect, that will keep too many home.

Areas north of I-72 are expecting 5-7 inches from monday evening through tuesday.

Personally, as an ISU fan, I think the snow will help you as it would draw more ISU people away than BU fans imo. I will still be going but I think the snow could help you guys out in this one.

Hopefully the snow will end hours before game time and the streets will be in decent shape so everyone that is planning to go will attend this game.

Just tell Jank to call as many timeouts as possible. Our promotions will shut our crowd up.

They are saying 3-5 inches now and the totals keep going down as the day goes on today. Most of the snow should be done by Tuesday morning but then 35 mph winds are predicted to blow all that around. Should make for some treacherous driving conditions in the open rural areas on I-74.

Not sure what your looking at... What I am reading from the national weather service is still predicting 5-8 inches storm total. With snow ongoing throughout the day on Tues....

It's supposed to be worse up here in the Chicago area with 6 to 12 inches expected, with the 12 inches closer to Lake Michigan. I don't think too many Chicago fans will be making the trip for this one! Hopefully the locals will fill the seats.

I was looking at the same thing elr, it seems to be changing by the hour lol. Regardless, 1 thing is for sure, i'm going to be mighty pissed if Bradley loses and I have to sludge back out to my car in blowing snow and single digit wind chills on a weekday night LOL.

I was thinking about this so I did a little research on the Bradley-ISU matchups since 1997-1998 because it was the last year available on the Bradley website. Up until the 2002-2003 season, the games at BU and at ISU were always on a weekday, but starting with the 2002-2003 season, every game at BU has been on a weekday while every game at ISU has been on a Saturday. Does this not seem right to anybody else? You want a large student turnout that is loud? Give them a Saturday night game against ISU with free t-shirts and they will be there albeit maybe after a little Koolaid and a few rides from friends who hadn't had any.

I-74 Rivalry Return
Bradley will have payback in mind when it completes its regular-season series versus Interstate 74 Rival Illinois State Tuesday night at Carver Arena...Illinois State's 66-47 victory against the Braves Jan. 30 at Redbird Arena equalled Bradley's most lopsided loss of the season and was the largest margin of defeat the Braves have suffered in the series since the 2004 State Farm MVC Tournament (74-54)...Bradley has suffered two other 19-point defeats this season and the Braves have responded positively after both losses...One game after suffering an 87-68 loss Dec. 20 at Iowa State, the Braves returned to central Iowa and earned a 67-59 win at Drake Dec. 29 in The Valley opener...Just one week after suffering an 88-69 loss Jan. 9 at Missouri State, Bradley returned the favor with an 18-point victory, 74-56, against the Bears Jan. 16 at Carver Arena.

Against The Redbirds

Redbird Home Streak
Bradley's current 7-game home winning streak against Illinois State equals the second-longest either team has enjoyed in the series...Bradley won a series-best nine straight home games versus Illinois State at three different venues (Hewitt Hall, Peoria Armory, Robertson Fieldhouse) during a sporadically-played segment of the series from 1921 through 1975...Illinois State's best home streak against the Braves is seven games (1992-98 ).

With A Win...
Bradley will earn its sixth win in eight games and extend its winning streak to three games for a third time this season...The Braves at least will remain in a tie for third place in The Valley standings...Bradley will earn its third "payback" win in as many tries this year after dropping its first game against a Valley rival...The Braves will earn their eighth consecutive home win against Illinois State and improve to 11-6 in their last 17 games overall against the Redbirds.

Home Stretch
Beginning with Tuesday's tilt versus the Redbirds, Bradley is playing four of its last six games at Carver Arena...Already with a Feb. 2 home win versus Drake, the 2009-10 season marks the first time the Braves have played as many as five February home games since 1993-94...In his eighth year as Bradley's head coach, Jim Les owns a 22-6 (.786) February home record, including perfect 4-0 marks in 2003-04 and 2005-06...The Braves have not finished below .500 at home in the month of February since 2001-02, when the Braves dropped 2-of-3 at Carver Arena.

Percentages Tell Story

Bradley junior guard Sam Maniscalco is shooting 53.6 percent from the field in the first 13 Valley games...The 6-foot Maniscalco currently is fifth in the league in field goal percentage in conference play...Maniscalco is the only player standing less than 6-foot-6 inches to rank among the league's top seven most accurate shooters in league play.

How Hot Is Maniscalco?
So just how hot has Sam Maniscalco been from inside the 3-point line this season?...The 6-foot guard is shooting 61.4 percent (54-88 ) from inside the arc on the season, including a scorching 71.0 percent (44-62) in MVC play...Maniscalco's season 2-point field goal percentage currently ranks as the seventh-best in the history of Bradley Basketball for any player with at least 50 2-pointers made...He has a chance to become just the sixth, and easily the shortest, individual in program history with at least 50 2FGM to shoot at least 60 percent from 2-point range for an entire season.

Bradley Season 2-Point FG Pct. (50 FGM)
Luke Jackson, 1987-88 .675 127-188

Newest 1,000-Pt Scorer
Bradley junior guard Sam Maniscalco became Bradley's 43rd member of the 1,000-Point Club last Tuesday during his 21-point effort versus Drake and he added 15 points Saturday at Evansville to push his career total to 1,029 points...Junior guard Andrew Warren also has a shot at joining the 1,000-Point Club this year...Warren has scored 909 career points and at his current average of 14.6 ppg, he is on schedule to join the club during Bradley's first game of the 2010 State Farm MVC Tournament.

One of the CSN channels has been broadcasting these on DirecTV as well. If you have the sports pack, look out for it. The UE game was on, so I expect the ISU game will be too.

Pretty sure those are just the Valley-TV games... That is what the UE games was on (Fox Sports Midwest and Comcast Sportsnet (channels 671 and 665). None of the Comcast Spotlight games have been on Directv...
