MVC games tonight 1/12

MSU -5 1/2

UNI -13 1/2

I am taking Drake and the points and giving BU the points, UNI will pound that number. UNI will score 50+ points just in the lane tonight and will win this one by a minimum of 20 and likely will get to the century mark. They might out score us tonight in the lane and at the line, then what we can put up overall.

Cant find an over/under number on the UNI/BU game but if it is anywhere near 160 or less, well its going over 160.

Drake is coming off their huge win at SIU. They have good shooters, and if they continue to shoot well, like they did at SIU, they will knock off some other teams. They even outrebounded SIU 34-28.

I agree. Let's see how good MSU is on the road. This will be a very close game either way.

Glad we got Drake at their place at the right time!

Drake will not lose to MSU by 6 at home. Not a book it but darn close.

UNI is a book it.

I might tend to disagree here. While I think UNI can certainly cover the spread, I just don't see them scoring at a rapid pace. That, combined with their D, will elongate BU's positions and eat away time and their chance to put a 100 on us.

Just think of their advantage in the lane over us both physically and skill wise. And their ability to get to the line and score often with the clock stopped. That is not even considering their guards ability to shoot the 3 and our inablity to guard the 3pt shooter.

I think it is a very strong possiblity that UNI puts up 100 on us if not 100 it will be well over 85 pts. And the 85 and above will include them calling off the dogs.

We do not defend anyone and we are a real bad shooting team along with a poor rebounding team, this is a great recipe for giving up huge numbers on the road to UNI. 3 of our last 4 road games we have given up 87-81-88. We allow 80 a game, not a huge stretch for UNI to get to 100.

UNI does not play an up tempo game, but likes to slow it down, so they will not be putting up a lot of points. I'm more worried about BU getting to 50 points against UNI's Defense, than I am UNI scoring over 85 points.

We'll know after the first 10 minuets if BU can hang in the game toinght. If we're able to make them play quick up tempo and we get games from AW and TB like we expect we'll hold our ground against them.

MSU does not either (73.6 in conference including our game) and we we managed to allow them 88. We have a way of bringing out the best in everyone we play, especially when it comes to the other team scoring the ball.

UNI averages 65 a game in conference, give them an extra 15 from the in conference average thats 80. Regardless of their way the play their offense its different v a team who wont guard you, challenge you on the boads and/or gives up an average of 80 a game.

Fine not a 100 but in the upper 80's and your right no way we get to our 75 a game in conference, lucky to get to 60. No matter how it is sliced we will not cover 13 1/2 and look more and more like a 20 point loser.

I just cannot see that happening to BU 2 games in a row...... I'm taking BU and the points.

I am throwing 75 at UNI so we shall see in about 6 hours who is right. Doing the same with the Drake.

Sincerely hope and want us to win this one outright. We played toe to toe with them last year at their place. But that was a different team with what appears to be a much different attitude.

You and I are taking opposite sides of the coin all the way around houston.

I got BU and the points, but UNI with the win;
and both MSU giving points plus the win (4 seperate chances..... like the built-in hedge?;) )

The Drake is off to a hot start...15-2 early.

30-8 now in favor of Drake, guess no hot start for Weems tonight? Young with 11 for Drake already though

Drake 5-5 from behind the arc
Missouri st. 0-4

Why do these teams seem to hit the 3 well against us, but not against the others lol
