Mike Shaw on BU Campus Today

So he redshirts his transfer year in '13-'14 and we effectively have a stud JuCo guy in '14-'15 and '15-'16? I hate already talking about next-next year but GF could have some pieces in place to do something big!

agree - maybe it's worth a try to request a waiver - but wake me when BU ever receives a gift from the NCAA..

anyway - our starting lineup will be drastically different-looking in upcoming seasons...
and now looks to be:

2013: Lemon, Bell, Pickett, Grier, Fields, maybe someone else at the "4-5"
2014: Fields, Grier, Bell, Shaw, Zecevic, ? Wells?...??
 
Maybe I'm not seeing the value in Shaw, and I really didn't know much about him before, but if he couldn't see hardly any P.T. over Egwu or McLurrin, that scares me.
I imagine he will be a good fit for a mid-major though with his size, athleticism, and skill (at least he DID at one point). With another productive big man, we could be a very good all-around team with all the pieces in a couple years.
 
Shaw was probably a little over-rated coming out of HS, especially after he verballed to Illinois. He is not an offensive power, but he does have great skills for a kid his size and would be an excellent player in the MVC.
 
Don't know what I'm missing about Shaw's offensive skills. Watched his you tube post on here and he looked awfully skilled to me. I think maybe it must have been the other end of the court that kept him from getting playing time. I would love to hear good news today from him ,than get DD,TH or DC. First 2 to commit don't care who.
 
Please land Shaw....this is my #1 pick right now.....I think he can flourish in the Valley and might lead to other chi-town rewcruits by him being a Brave! :D

Was a 4 star recruit! :-o

Agree...its a highlight video, but you still gotta do those things he is doing....I like what I see...
