Mid-Con Conference set to expand, news conference today

Mid-Con will add IPFW.

The MidContinent Conference presently includes:
Centenary
IUPUI
Oakland
Oral Roberts
Southern Utah
Missouri-Kansas City
Valparaiso
Western Illinois
.........however, Valparaiso is leaving at the end of the 2006-07 season to join the Horizon League, and Chicago State was asked to leave the conference last year.

North Dakota State and South Dakota State are also being mentioned as potential members for the league.

IPFW was probably desperate for a conference and the MidCon is desperate for teams. Sounds about right.

maybe illinois can get all the mid-con teams to come to the assembly hall for their non-conference schedule next year. :lol:
