Wichita State has begun to assault on the insanity of the talking (but ignorant) heads of the major networks who think the Valley and other midmajors are weak.

Wichita has annihilated Seton Hall, from the Big East.
Score was 86-66 but Wichita led by as many as 20 in the first half and cruised.
Sean Ogirri 6-10 from downtown and 23 pts.
Even Wichita State's walk ons got into this one!!

11th seed Wisconsin-Milwaukee has beaten Oklahoma 82-74.

13th seeded Pacific is about to knock off another Big East power, Boston College!!
One point down in the final minute.
 
Pacific up 6 with half the overtime period gone.
Remember, Boston College took Duke right down to the wire in their tourney, and lost by only 2!!!
BC is the cream of the ACC crop and they're gonna get bumped by a bad midmajor that wouldn't have even finished 7th in the MVC!!!

WOW Pacific is a fine team, they could have finished 2nd in the ACC!!!!! (according to Billy Packer logic!)

Whoa, T.....let's not get carried away. Pacific has been there before, just like UW-M.
 
But Packer's rant would have claimed the 56th place team in the ACC is still way better than even the top teams in conferences like the MVC or the Big West.
Pacific is an 88 RPI and has lost to teams with 300+ RPI.
This alone proves Billy Packer is an i*d*i*o*t
 
Wow Winthrop almost took down #2 seed tennessee. Of course Tennesse sucks and was barely fit to be a 5 seed. Pacific fell to BC but they served notice. Good day for the mid majors.
 
Congrats to Winthrop, even tho they lose at the buzzer to Tennessee,
they have shown again that the idiocy spewed by the likes of Digger Phelps and Billy Packer demands an apology from those dolts.
 
12 seed montana beats 5 seed nevada by 8
3 upsets and one close call so far along with the double ot too bad pacific didnt pull it out
 
he Mid-majors are indeed making a strong showing given the lousy seeds they all got.

Big XII hasn't won anything yet, and Horizon & MVC haven't lost anything yet!
