Matt had a very fine offensive game -- 12 pts in his 26 minutes....but did you see where they had him playing defense...?
They had Matt stationed right under the basket on the 2-3 zone...a 6-3 guy playing the low post in their zone!!!
....which was, of course, Crean's way of trying to hide him and get him some help from all four directions ASAP if the ball got near anyone in his zone...
Despite a great offensive game, Indiana's defense suffered serious lapses inside over and over...with guys like Kalin Lucas repeatedly driving and scoring and Draymond Green going for 19 pts/13 rebs.
So unfortunately this will plague MR and Crean in that his best scoring guards are Hulls & Roth and neither can help much on defense.

Not much different from Eastman. Wish Eastman would shoot like Roth.
