Head womens basketball coach is in trouble right after signing a 5-year contract extension.
She was caught giving expensive gifts to some of her players
(laptop computers, clothing, etc.)
and accused of abusing other players and "degrading" some players and "playing favorites"...even providing free housing and cash gifts/loans.
(I always liked that claim, that coaches play favorites. Isn't that exactly what they are supposed to do?)
