Unless something falls thru - Jim Molinari is meeting with Oklahoma head coach Lon Kruger for
the open spot on his assistant coaching staff
(Lon Kruger's son, Kevin Kruger, just left Oklahoma for an assistant coaching spot at UNLV - LINK )
You heard it here first! ;)

(all the Oklahoma assistant basketball coaches make over $200K per year - LINK )

It helps to have connections. :)

Jim Molinari is a long time friend of Lon Kruger dating back to the early 1970's when they played together on pretty good Kansas State teams that won back-to-back Big 8 Championships coached by Jack Hartman, and they still remain friends.

I could be wrong but I thought they were best man at each other's wedding...or maybe one or the other.....I can't remember for sure

Bradley played Illinois Wesleyan in both 1975-76 and 1976-77 (Bradley won both) ..
and I had a Bradley game program from the game in 76-77 when Bradley played Illinois Wesleyan - and the photo on the cover of the Bradley program showed Jim Molinari from the prior year's game playing against Bradley. I gave that program to Jim as a memento - - hope he still has it
