Iowa State making the Same Mistake?

The entire previous coaching staff and more were canned in the wake of the Pay-for-Scheduling scandal last year at Iowa State.
I dug out a couple old threads about it if you don't recall.

Now the Iowa State AD is doing exactly the same thing, and paying huge bucks (nearly a quarter mil) to a private company to get scheduled games.
There is no way to know for sure if some of this $$ ends up in the wrong hands, those of AAU folks and recruits, but AD Pollard doesn't seem to care, even though some people are worried he is doing exactly what got the school into trouble just four months ago.

I don't get why Pollard would even mess with those kind of organizations. He's playing with fire, and who knows, he may end up getting fired as well.
