MVC leads the Challenge with the Mountain West Conference so far, 3-2.

YTD Challenge Results:

BYU (H) over BU
InSU (H) over CSU
UNLV (H) over SIU
MSU (H) over AFA
WSU (H) over TCU

Remaining contests:
Sat, Dec 19 New Mexico Vs Creighton Albuquerque, N.M.
Sat, Dec 19 Utah Vs Illinois St. Salt Lake City, Utah
Tue, Dec 22 Drake Vs San Diego State Des Moines, Iowa
Wed, Dec 23 N Iowa Vs Wyoming Cedar Falls, Iowa

Home teams have prevailed so far...MVC wins series if the trend continues

Most surprising result so far??
Predictions for remaining 4 games in the challenge??

There needs to be some more emphasis/rivalry if this competition is to grow in stature...Friendly/funny wagers between school presidents/student bodies/local media outlets, a Challenge Trophy/banner for each school, banners each year with the annual conference challenge results hanging in each schools' facilities...??

Needs something to get the schools, teams, students, and most importanly the media involved to get more exposure around the country from this match up.

Having these games played in the same week would help! Also I do not see Drake winning. CU has a better chance IMO.

UNI is not losing to Wyoming at home.
Drake isn't beating a team of mini-Ditkas at this point, let alone any MWC team.
Creighton isn't winning at The Pit in their current form. Heck, a Creighton at peak form probably wouldn't win at The Pit.

Which means the entire challenge comes down to ISU.

Oh, crap.

this'll happen in the future...but because some dates were already set when the MVC/MWC Challenge was arranged, this season the games are more spread out than we'd have wanted...

and OE just cut off all his hair!

Yep, Elgin had said at Media Day this year that the plan is for it to be a Thurs-Sun. The plan is to have it start the first week of December after the ACC/Big 10 challenge wraps up.
