Gene Honda is my favorite P.A. Announcer of all time (sorry Paul you are really great though).
I am a life long White Sox fan and have enjoyed his voice for years. I have recently come to enjoy his bad ass low pitch rapid fire two tone modulating voice hyping up the Blackhawks as well.
Factoid: Gene Honda's voice can be heard prominently in the background of the movie "My Best Friends Wedding"
My Point or initiative would be get Gene Honda to do a home game intro in Carver Arena. How great would it be with our brand new center scoreboard and high def jumbo T.V.s to hear that growly intimidating presence announce the likes of a Senior Guard out of Chicago Sam Maniscalco!
I don't know what his contract allows or what his availability is, but, it sure would be fun.
