Valpo struggling from the field as they have fallen behind Loyola 31-19 with 2:57 left. The Crusaders are 8-25 overall, 3-8 from 3. Loyola is 11-22 overall, 4-10 from 3. Valpo settling for too many outside shots
 
Loyola is in control of this one as they lead Valpo at the half 36-22. Keith Clemons has been far and away the best player in the floor as he has 17 points for the Ramblers. No one is playing to well for Valpo and their #1 player Javon Freeman-Liberty is 0-4 and hasn’t scored. As a team Valpo is 9-27 from the field, 4-9 from 3 while Loyola is 13-25 from the field, 5-12 from 3 and 5-11 from 1.
 
Valpo trying to stay in it but just can’t get closer than 7 so far. Down 55-46 with 7:18 left. Clemons has 23 for Loyola while Freeman-Liberty is 0-7 from the field with 4 turnovers. Loyola doing a really good job in not letting him take over
 
Freeman-Liberty is costing Valpo any chance to get closer. Too many turnovers and bad shots. Loyola leads 64-57 with 3:11 left
 
Freeman-Liberty finally gets his first basket and Valpo has it down to 66-62 with 50.0 left. Lots of time especially with how bad Loyola is from the ft line
