Upcoming game on Sunday is Senior Night. Wondering what the protocol is concerning Deen. Will he take part in pregame ceremonies if he is considering returning for another year. Or maybe he has made up his mind and take part in the ceremony. Just curious since I have not heard anything regarding the matter. Anybody have any inside info or is it still up in limbo.:doubt:
This conundrum arose starting in the Covid year. The last 4 years, with the optional extra Covid year, it was hard to know which players were graduating and leaving and which were planning on returning for the extra year. And now we have the NCAA juco ruling that does the same thing.
Recall that Duke did not participate in last year's Senior Night, though Darius Hannah did, along with Malevy Leons, Goanar Biliew, and Connor Linke.
Even though Duke appears to be eligible for another year, I suspect he will opt to be honored this time, along with Darius, Christian, Zek, Connor Dillon, Cade, Sam and probably Connor Linke.
Goanar is eligible for an extra year, too, since he came to Bradley from a juco. But I expect he'll participate in Senior Night, too, for a second time.
Then after the season, Duke will probably consider NIL offers and other factors and make his final decision. I guess we'll know Sunday afternoon.
