Donovine Stewart Article- Mentions Bradley Coaches...

Thanks Dan
But elsewhere I have seen his name spelled Donivine, so which is it?
In all the more official sites, such as the IESA website when Pleasant Valley was playing for the state title, it uses "Donivine".

and this is the first I have heard that Donivine and Demarius Sumrell (also of Limestone) are cousins.

its Donivine......he and Demarius are great players...BU should get after both...package deal ;)

2/15.....High School Freshman Donivine Stewart scores 31 pts!

Limestone at Morton. I was at the game. He looked really good, nice shot, good decisions, good ball handling skills, good defense, no attitude. On the down side he took two out of control shots and missed at least three free throws in approximately six attempts.

Big Mike, I didn't see you at the game. Were you there?

I just finished reading the article in the Peoria Journal Star and he was 3 of 6 from the line. I don't know if this is a problem or not as 6 attempts is a very small sample. If it is a problem, he needs to work on it as he will get to the line a lot.

I also saw in the article that he dropped a dozen dimes. Many of these were more than just kickouts to an open shooter. He drove and bounce passed to a baseline cutter for a basket so easy I could make it; or not. :)

If I had to express just a single thing I liked about the kid it would be his lack of attitude. Refreshing, he was all business.

FWIW .. the Doc and Kotter HS "expert" was mentioning that DS just finds a way to help his team. If he's not hitting his shots, he maked FT's .. So I do not think poor FT % is typical for DS...

tonight DS scores 27 against Richwoods........before tonights game DS had scored 107 pts in the last 3 games!:o:
