Darius is back

So glad to hear this...if you look at Daves Eminians practice photos today I almost commented on why Hannah was practicing in the backround?:-o:-o

Great news. I had a suspicion one or both would reconsider their decisions. Maybe Zek will reverse course, too.

I have to think some of the fan reaction on Bradleyfans.com helped Darius change his mind

from Dave Eminian's article said:
An emotional firestorm ensued within the Bradley fan base, and on Monday night the star forward told the 26-8 team he wants to play.

Also good news that Christian Davis has an attorney appealing getting another year at Bradley....good luck Christian!.

Just logged back since this afternoon.. this is a pleasant surprise!!

Good for Darius, I’m glad he’s changed his mind!

Hope his hearts in it and plays like it. Part of what hurt the most was that he was one of a lot of us favorite players. Now go win this tournament! I want a reason to travel to Indy for some ballgames.

This is like some soap opera. Hard to believe coach was willing to take him back.

Why??
Darius has been SUPER loyal to BU for years and has persevered through thick and thin to get to where he is today. He came back this season when he could have gone elsewhere. He most definitely should be welcomed back with open arms.
THANK YOU DARIUS!

Thank you Darius indeed. I was very disappointed when I heard he wasn't playing but very pleased to hear he had a change of heart. I'm sure he heard about it from lots of sources including his little buddy Duke Dean.

I think Hannah was likely really bummed out by not making the NCAA tournament. He came back for a 5th year because he thought this was the year they could make the tournament. I imagine that has to taken a lot out on him mentally knowing they were so close. I am glad he changed his mind and decided to continue playing in the postseason. Wardle said he won't start but I imagine he will play quite a bit.

Zek though is a bit of a mystery.

Glad Darius had a change of heart. Agree totally with Wardle on not starting him. He will obviously get his minutes. Curious if something like this happened during the regular season if Wardle would have him serve a 1 game suspension. Will never know but just curious.

I am so happy to hear this! Darius is one of my all-time favorite Braves and when I heard he wasn't going to play, it really broke my heart. I'll be wearing my Hannah jersey come Wednesday and suspect he's going to put up some monster numbers for us. Love you, DH!

I hope Zek has a change of heart, as well. It was so great finding out he was returning to finish out his college career where he started it and he's really been such a great player on both ends of the court. Not having him would really be a loss for the team and the fans and sitting out the NIT would just be a terrible way to end it all. Will always love Zek for coming back for his senior year regardless and I hope he changes his mind by Wednesday.

This would be HUGE! He does a little bit of everything and we have a lot of young guys who would benefit from Christian’s tutelage and leadership. If I could choose any senior to return for next season it would be CD cause he provides so much - especially the intangibles

I disagree, being loyal means this should not have happened in the first place. Saying he made a mistake is the part that matters most.
