Da Bulls

I like the Bulls' picks (Tyrus Thomas and Thabo Sefolosha) but would have loved to see them get help in the paint.
Maybe with all the $$ they have left over they can still sign someone on the free agent market.
One thing that hasn't been talked much about is the extra player the Bulls got in the Tyrus Thomas swap.
They pick up Viktor Khryapa, who actually isn't a bad player and might help the Bulls. He is a 6'9" PF who over two season at Portland averaged 11 pts, 8 rebs.
These same numbers have some people buzzing about Z. Ilgauskas or Chris Kaman, and as good as or better than Michael Sweetney averages (8/5), or than players such as John Salley or Drew Gooden averaged in their careers.
He's just an unknown because of where he plays.

ESPN's Poll Question right now is: Which team had the best draft?
Bulls, Trail Blazers, Grizzlies, or Jazz.

The Bulls are leading by a huge margin, getting 46% of the votes.

Next year thanks to Isiah and the Knicks.

I have been rooting against the Knicks all year. It looks like I'll be doing the same next year. It would be fantastic if the Bulls could get the top pick next year when the draft will be loaded with skilled big men.

Both Thomas and Sefolosha got incredibly positive reviews after their first outing yesterday in the Florida summer league.
Both are awesome defenders.

That's great news, sounds like they'll fit right in with Skiles.

Both Thomas and Sefalosha had even better games their 2nd time around in the Orlando summer league (TT went for 17 pts 11 rebs, Thabo went for 16). Unfortunately it was in a losing effort, as Adam Morrison scored 29 for Charlotte and they edged the Bulls last night.

One thing that's been interesting - Aaron Miles (formerly of KU fame) is averaging nearly 20 ppg off the bench for the Bulls in the summer league. Perhaps he may be taking Jannero Pargo's spot at the end of the bench?
