Butler head coach takes indefinite leave of absence

Butler has granted 2nd year head coach Brandon Miller an indefinite leave of absence "for medical reasons".

Miller was 14-17 in his first season as the Butler head coach last year. Assistant coach Chris Holtman takes over head coaching duties.

very sorry to hear that - and there couldn't be a tougher time to make that choice with the season about to start and recruiting for 2015 in one of the most critical time periods....kids wanting to verbal and lock in before the season starts.

No official explanation, but there's a mention on one of the Butler message boards that some talk existed for couple weeks as Miller had missed some scheduled events purportedly due to illness.

the interim tag has been removed and Chris Holtman is now the Head Coach

although it must be serious - there is still no official word on the nature or the severity of Brandon Miller's medical condition but
unofficial sources claim it is serious
