Bradley is recruiting junior college point guard Fabyon Harris. He is a sophomore (class of 2012) at College of Southern Idaho. CSI won the NJCAA championship last spring with Harris as a reserve player. This season he is projected to be their starting point guard, and some early junior college player rankings have Fabyon Harris rated as one of the top couple juco point guards in the country.

He graduated from Chicago Hyde Park HS, and Coach Les had some recruiting contact with him. He was expected to commit to DePaul, but never did. He verbally committed to SMU his senior year, then decommitted. He then committed to University of Houston, but after only a few days in Houston, he was granted his release and left. He enrolled at Howard Junior College in Big Spring, Texas. But he got into trouble there, was dismissed, and he then landed at College of Southern Idaho.

According to the latest Dave Reynolds recruiting article posted 8/4 and updated 8/6, "Harris has received an offer from Bradley and will unofficially visit the campus on Tuesday".

But that is now off. Bradley is no longer recruiting Fabyon Harris.

Kind of a relief - sounded like he'd get into trouble at BU and just up and leave when things get rough. I'm as much a proponent of a kid's character as his hoops ability. I'm confident we'll get someone just as tough, but that represents the University with class.

well he does have that offer but the scholarship that would have been given has now gone to Ka'Darryl Bell and so I suspect for reasons that have become obvious - that he is NOT being pursued from our end

BU recruit Fabyon Harris was named the NJCAA Region 18 junior college Player of the Year. His team, College of Southern Idaho, was last year's national champions, and they finished this season 27-3 as they now enter their Region 18 tournament -

He is a strong candidate for National Player of the Year.
He is averaging 17.6 ppg, 4.9 rpg, and 2.8 apg, and is shooting 42% from three.

More evidence that Fabyon Harris is long past considering any Bradley offer - and evidence he's reconsidering some previously held ideas........

-he just told an interviewer that he is taking a 2nd visit to Texas A&M (next week) to find out what's going on as they had been holding a ride for him and waiting until his season was over because although he wasn't going to rush, that's where he was leaning - but Texas A&M just got a SOLID verbal from a highly rated PG/combo guard who had previously been verballed to Mizzou.

And.....Fabyon will also be visiting Tennessee, and also will wait 'til Frank Martin is in at South Carolina and visit there...and wants to see the new head coach at UAB (Jerod Haase) where he visited back in December.
Other places include - "Kansas, Oklahoma State, ..and Ole Miss"

A&M may still be looking at Harris. Shawn Smith has some grade issues. Apparently his parting with Missouri was mutual.. the staff was afraid he would not be eligible and did not want to hold a scholarship for him. A&M has to replace much of its backcourt and is apparently willing to take the chance.

Fabyon Harris narrows his choices to just four finalists according to a tweet...
Texas A&M, Mississippi, Tennessee, and OK. State.
