I had not noticed this name on the forums here yet (if I've overlooked it, please delete/merge this one). Victor Law appears to be a Top 60 (ESPN) small forward on the Chicago St. Rita team that the Matthews brothers are on.

Granted this is ESPN listing us as being associated... but it's nice to be associated at all!

I hope we stay on him... plus, good use of recruiting time/$ since the team appears to be stacked with D1 talent..
 
Not trying to take anything away from the kid - and I would have loved to land Vic Law...but....
there's a brand new Youtube video posted that shows Victor Law dunking time after time

I guess on the surface it seems impressive and Northwestern fans are raving over it -

but.. how many such opportunities like that is he gonna get in the Big Ten -- maybe a couple but even the best dunkers in D-I get maybe a couple a game and they count no more than if the guy got a layup like Doug McDermott is pretty good at.
 
Tough situation for Vic Law - who was hampered some last year by a nagging elbow injury
but it will open up a little more playing time and could benefit Nate Taphorn
