At the Ft. Wayne, IN Hensley Memorial AAU Event.....

A new name...Stacy Waters, that BU is recruiting.
Class of 2008 SG

"Stacy Waters, SG, Mich. Mustangs ???‚¬??? This guy is going to make one mid-level program extremely happy to land him. From the left corner he shot 4-for-5 from downtown and finished 9-for-14 with 26 points....

Stacy Waters has an offer from Virginia Commonwealth and interest from Penn State, Bradley, Fordham and Oklahoma. ???‚¬?¦"

Iman Shumpert remained hot, Nick Fruendt had a bad game Friday...just 4 pts.

Now there's a lot of new coverage on Stacy Waters....Rivals has a new premium article on him this morning.

"Waters Letting the Shots Flow"

"Oklahoma, Penn State, Fordham, Bradley, Virginia Commonwealth (offer), Youngstown State (offer) and Wright State (offer) are all heavily involved, Waters said, and a Big Ten school is making quite the impression."

There's a report on michiganpreps.com that Stacy Waters went to a prep school "out east" and is no longer at Detroit Renaissance.

I found that he is now at
Bridgton Academy in North Bridgton, ME

One of the last 2008 kids that was on Bradley's recruiting list at one time, Stacy Waters, has committed to University of Ohio.

Darius Johnson-Odom was recently raised to 3-stars by Scout, for no reason that I can understand, but he remains uncommitted

Varez Ward, who renegged from his earlier commitment to Cincinnati, also remains uncommitted. According to this Rivals article, he is not close to making a decision (see near bottom)--

one other article I found suggests he is leaning toward Texas.
