I just heard a few more things about Armon Brummett from a reliable source.

Our coaches liked him, but for the past couple years, the reports from him and his high school and from recruiting gurus all over were that he was planning on playing football in college. As a result, he had interest mainly from college football coaches. And in addition to being a highly rated football star, he was also a great track athlete and played baseball, too, so his training was mostly centered around football, track, and baseball, but not basketball. Also, his participation in those other sports kept him from being noticed on the summer AAU circuit, like most good high school basketball athletes are.
But just recently he made the decision to play only basketball in college, and he is having a great senior season for the Decatur MacArthur basketball team. Our coaches have evaluated him a lot but at first were disappointed he was leaning toward football. That fact also has lead to none of the recruiting experts writing about him or evaluating him as a basketball player, and that's why he doesn't show up in many recruiting databases. It also accounts for the fact that only a few college basketball coaches have bothered to check in on him before now.
He is a tremendous athlete, and our coaches believe he is very talented. He is said to be a good shooter, and good at getting to the basket, something the Bradley team lacks. His athleticism is also needed. They feel that once the word got out about him deciding to concentrate only on basketball, something he has never done, that a lot of coaches would quickly become interested.
One source called him "a steal" for Bradley!
Let's hope he is as good as advertised!
