The 2015 portion of the golf season has gotten underway for the BU Men's Golf Team as they are in Goodyear, Arizona for the Neville Kovacs Group Intercollegiate Tournament. After the 1st of 3 rounds the Braves find themselves tied for 10th out of 17 teams with a score 302, 22 shots out of first. Senior Danny Masrin had the low score for BU with a 73, his 26th straight round under 80. He's 6 back of the lead. It's the 1st of 6 tournaments the men have for the winter/spring season. The women get underway on Monday and Tuesday as they play in the Amelia Island Intercollegiate Tournament in Florida. Junior Danielle Lemke hopes to continue to keep going low as she currently leads the MVC with a 73.00 stroke average. The women also have six tournaments this winter/fall season.
 
Both the men's and women's golf teams completed their 1st tournament of the 2015 season this week. The men finished with rounds of 302, 311 and 303 for a team score of 916 finishing 15th out of 17th, 48 strokes behind Utah Valley. Senior Danny Masrin continued his sub 80's shooting as he posted rounds of 73, 74 and 76 for a total of 223, tied for 33rd. Danny now has 28 straight sub 80 rounds, the 3rd highest in school history. Senior Seth Trolia finished 1 stroke behind Danny in a tie for 36th as his 74 in the last round tied him for 2nd overall in BU history with 90 rounds below 80. The men next play in the Pinehurst, North Carolina Intercollegiate on March 13-15.

The women had a rain shorten event as they could only play 36 holes. They finished with scores of 315 and 309 to finish in 10th, 44 strokes behind Florida International. Junior Danielle Lemek had rounds of 74 and 73 to finish tied for 12th, just 1 shot out of the top ten. Junior Allison Walsh had rounds of 77 and 79 to finish in a tie for 39th. The women next play in the Rio Verde, Arizona Invitational on March 13-15.
