Big Mike (Williams) Update

Braveman

New member
Received a Christmas card from Mike's mom and she says he is improving daily and loves to hear from the BU nation.

Get better Big Mike- looking forward to seeing you at a BU game soon!

Get well Mike!

I HOPE BRADLEY CAN HAVE A GAME-DEDICATION FOR MIKE SOME TIME IN THE NEAR FUTURE AND HAVE HIM HERE SO THE FANS CAN GIVE THEIR APPRECIATION!

Lots of encouraging info in the piece about Massive Mike, yet still a very sad story.

You can still see the spirit and positive attitude in Mike that set him apart. I have faith that he will "rebound" and live a positive and productive life.

Keep working hard Massive Mike, WE LOVE YOU AND CAN'T WAIT TO SEE YOU IN PEORIA!

On his morning radio show, Coach Jim Les mentioned he had gotten an email from Mike Williams saying he was doing well, and in good health.
Ironic tat the Tribune article would get posted the same day, but it looks like Big Mike is still improving. Get well Mike, and don't give up!

Hope you keep getting better Mike you were such a great player to watch, wish we had another one like you in the post.

A national news service has picked up on the story of Mike Wiliams after the Tribune article (above).
Here is the AP story with a number of photos-
