If you watched any of the Michigan-Virginia game - you saw a few familiar faces...

Nice to see that Ritchie McKay has dropped that stupid phrase in his bio that said...
"McKay had previously taken a virtual unknown in Danny Granger and turned him into
a third-team All-American and MVP of the Mountain West Tournament in 2005,
leading to the Indiana Pacers selecting him as the 17th overall pick in the 2005 NBA Draft."

North Carolina squeaks out a 3 point win against Wisconsin. WI was up by 5 midway thru the 2nd half but NC went on a big rally.

WI was 8 for 28 on threes. Why couldn't they shoot like that against us? LOL

B1G goes 8-4 and wins the Challenge. Fairly solid performance all around I would say. I think the B1G has the potential to put quite a few teams into the dance.

Also three B1G teams with games against ranked competition this saturday, should be an indication on how the middle portion of the league is going to perform against OSU.

Schedule

Kinda sounds familiar...
as badly as Iowa is doing - there's a thought or two among Hawkeye fans of what might have been ...and of the players runout and lost due to fallout over firing Lickliter...

-Ben Brust is perhaps the best and most clutch player Wisconsin has right now

-Brennan Cougill was the difference in last night's game, had the winning basket, and is playing well for UW-GB

-Aaron Fuller is averaging 14 ppg, 7 rpg this year for USC

-then Anthony Hubbard, Cully Payne, Cody Larson, Matt Glover (starter at Penn State), Jake Kelly and others would have all helped this year and last at Iowa

....and if that's not bad enough for Iowa Hawkeye fans...the entire place STINKS...
