AJ Price-Class 2011 Combo Guard

I just think it is great when sources close to players come and contribute. Everything is so secretive. Now we know he is a legit prospect and we aren't left in the dark.

2nd: Even if he has a unique shot....he has become a good enough player and his shot must be good enough to be heavily recruited by bradley....so why worry at all.

Hope you enjoy the visit AJ.

Thanks, we appreciate that and look forward to visiting Bradley as well.

brownsugaraj, thank you for joining us on this board. It is a special place for BU fans and I hope your visit goes well. We in Peoria think Bradley basketball is very special. The passion for basketball in this town is second to none. Our kids are treated like family and "Once a Brave always a Brave." Hope to see AJ in a BU uniform if that's what he wants. AJ can get a great education here, play in a great atmosphere every night and we have sent more kids to the pros then anyone in our league. Good luck in your hunt for a school, but think red.

I hope no one worries about an unorthodox shot. One of the all time greats, Reggie Miller, had a funny looking shot and we all know how he played. It's all about the ball going through the hoop.

So true SFP. If the BU coaches like the kid that's alright by me. I'm still curious as to his shooting percentage from the arc, though. But I'm also OK if he's a better "scorer" than shooter (ala Theron Wilson).

Welcome to campus Price Family. I'm confident that you'll find BU to be quite a special place. :)

Agree with everything posted here. Thanks for coming to the board brownsugaraj! Its cool to have someone close to a recruit post like that.

Good luck on your search for a school, hope you like Bradley!

Welcome to Peoria and BU AJ and friends/family.

Peoria has a lot more going for it than other towns its size.

This is due to Peoria being a growing regional/national medical center and a mid Illinois financial center. It is also the home of Caterpillar Inc, a Fortune 100 global industry leader, with close ties to BU, its faculty, students, and alumni.

I am not a native, but lived in Peoria for over 15 years before retiring. The public interest and support for BU Athletics, and BU Men's Basketball in particular, is as good here as any BCS Conference School.

Good luck to AJ in his decision re college and his career. He has a wonderful opportunity to leverage his sports skills to set him up for life beyond basketball!

Thanks....He will be visiting in August/September.

Is AJ coming soon to the BU campus for a visit? Would be good to have him get to know the guys and see the awesome new facilities. I guess most of the guys are back and working out?
DSE will be gone for a little while with his trip to play in Europe.

Not all the guys who are on campus now will remain until classes start on August 25. Some will be taking a final trip home.
I don't know when A.J. Price might be visiting, but I've heard they have a steady stream of kids in for visits over the next few weeks, now that AAU season is over.
