nothing made public but I am going to stick my neck out and say scheduling is ongoing and there's enough "MTE's"
to go around, so I suspect we will hear something

Bradley is scheduled to play in an eight-team tourney in Orlando during Thanksgiving week.

Note that IlSU is mentioned as participating in another tourney, a four-team tourney, also in Orlando.

If that is confirmed, that is a very good group of teams participating-
"Bradley, Liberty, Princeton, Rhode Island, Temple, Towson, UC San Diego, and Vermont will headline an additional Orlando ESPN Event field next season. These teams will play a three-game, eight-team bracket while at Disney World."

Yes- nice - thanks for finding that -
wow - amazing how the news for Bradley basketball is happening every day and it's always here...

The Orlando/Disney 8-team Tourney should be late November and will include
Liberty, Princeton, Rhode Island, Temple, Towson, UC San Diego, and Vermont - in addition to Bradley!

That is a really good lineup of solid mid-major teams.

Liberty NET 60
Princeton NET 166
Rhode Island NET 152
Temple NET 164
Towson NET 151
UC San Diego NET 35 !!
Vermont NET 232 but they won 19 games & has historically been solid

Liberty already has a story up- LINK

Schedule dates are set for the Orlando Tournament

ESPN calls the Tournament:

Terry's Chocolate ESPN Events Invitational

The Adventure Bracket
(the other two brackets are the Magic and the Imagination, and they're in Kissimmee, FL, just south of Orlando- LINK )

Has anyone ever heard of Terry's Chocolate? I haven't but I'd like to know more...
According to Wikipedia, it's a company that had been in business for over 100 years then discontinued and was taken over by Kraft.
But ......
"In 2016, Terry's was one of a number of brands acquired by Eurazeo and it subsequently became part of Carambar & Co.
CURRENT PRODUCTS-
Terry's Chocolate Orange: Introduced in 1932 as Terry's Dessert Chocolate Orange
Terry's Chocolate Orange Ice-cream Tubs and Sticks: Introduced 2023
Terry's Chocolate Mint: Introduced in 2023
Terry's Chocolate Milk: Introduced in 2024 – a plain milk chocolate in the orange shape"
and now they have lots of other items - LINK
Here's their website - LINK

They list the stores they are sold in and I have never heard of nor seen a single one of these-

Terry's is a British chocolate brand, and those grocery markets they show- Sainsbury's, ASDA, Morrison's, Ocado, Waitrose, B&M, Poundland, Iceland, and Tesco, are all British supermarket and variety market chains.
The other one, COOP, is a Norwegian grocery market chain.
From what I can find on the internet, they recently started to market their products in the US

The Terry's Chocolate Events is a 16-team event divided into 3 different brackets - https://espnpressroom.com/us/press-...nts-invitational-at-walt-disney-world-resort/
Bradley plays in an 8-team bracket Nov. 24-26 (titled The Adventure Bracket) with Liberty, Princeton, Rhode Island, Temple, Towson, UC San Diego, and Vermont.
Then there is a 4-team bracket Nov. 27-28 (titled The Magic Bracket) with BYU, Dayton, Georgetown, and Miami.
And there is a 3rd bracket, also from Nov. 27-28 (titled The Imagination Bracket) with Illinois State, Charlotte, Furman, and Richmond.
All games are played at Walt Disney World Resort’s State Farm Field House at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex in Kissimmee, Fla.

They were giving away Terry's chocolate oranges at the Myrtle Beach invitational last year. I never got one while I was there, but bought one at Walmart or Walgreens when I got home and I must say, it was quite delightful. ;)

Bradley 2025-26 schedule so far-
Nov. 24-26- ESPN Events- Terry's Chocolate - schedule to be determined
TBA- Home game vs. Washington State
TBA- Away game at Northern Illinois
TBA- Away game at San Francisco
20-game MVC Schedule- home & home with each of the other 10 MVC teams

Years ago, Bradley would travel to Las Vegas or Hawaii between Christmas and New Years Day. Lately, it seems like Thanksgiving is the “new” road trip for fans to follow. This time period isn’t good for fans to travel and attend. I don’t think anyone watches these teams on tv as there is too much competition from college and professional football. Maybe this is the new reality for mid major teams like Bradley. It ensures that ranked teams don’t ever play mid majors and have an upset loss

ESPN’s pivot to airing 40+ bowl games in the month of December probably contributed to “Feast Week”. A lot more open slots in late November.

Regarding November for tournaments instead of December, the key factor is that conference games are starting earlier than they used to. While some games happen in early December, just about every league is starting in late-December or right at January 1st with full conference schedules. Teams don't want to go to a Christmas tournament and just get back and jump right in 2 days later to start conference games.

Another factor is that the schedule starts in early November now, whereas it used to start around Thanksgiving like 30 years ago. With the schedule starting earlier, it doesn't make sense to wait until Christmas time to play these tournaments.

Now the bigger key issue though molar50 is that the power conference teams made a decision recently to NOT play mid-majors in any of these tournaments. Simply put, they want a closed-loop system where they never give mid-majors a shot. They would rather play other power conference teams AND lower-majors that they are sure to beat. They think this keeps mid-majors out as it stops them from getting high-quality games that feeds their heavily biased "Quad" system to control Quad 1 and Quad 2 games. This really started in earnest the last few years. Many power conference teams have said they are not playing in an MTE tournament that has a mid-major team in it.
