2012 juco recruit- Dawon Cummings

This is the only Recruiting thread that was lost when we switched to the new server-
Bradley is recruiting a number of additional 2012 players, including several junior college players.
One juco shooting guard that BU has been watching is Dawon Cummings, a 6'3" shooting guard from Coffeyville CC in Kansas. He is originally from Kansas City, MO. He is currently averaging 13.4 ppg for Coffeyville, and he had some impressive performances in preseason Juco events last fall.

He is ranked #57 on the Jucojunction Top 150 juco players of 2012-

Juco shooting guard Dawon Cummings has boosted his scoring average with a 28 and 25 point performances last week. He is now averaging 14.8 ppg, and he is still considering Bradley.

So he's been the leading scorer on the #3 ranked team in JUCO. Is that right?
Hope we're targeting this kid as the frontrunner (shooter) to come to the Hilltop. Hopefully he's not slow-footed.

I also looked him up and appears he was a 2 sport athlete in H.S. if it's the right DC.
His 3-pt. % is not that impressive - just 35%, but he seems to blend decent outside shooting with athleticism.
Will be interesting to see how he finishes out the season. And IF he continues to play well, would we even have a shot at him once a schollie is opened up?
