  • Morez Johnson’s dad wrote a scathing report on Facebook, very critical of Underwood and his coaching tactics. Especially critical of when a player made a mistake, he was benched for long periods. Plus he had his favorites.
    Hi Da Coach,
I'm back after years of not being on the board. I saw the picture of the 1982 championship trophy and thought... he seems pretty connected to past BU basketball, so I wonder if you knew my former father-in-law Ron Harris who was a former assistant coach? Just curious...

Hi George. Yes, I knew Ron pretty well. I knew he was an assistant many years ago with Joe Stowell, then was head coach at Samford for a few years. He attended a lot of games and Bradley events like the game-day luncheons, and banquets, and that's when I got to know him better. He kept coming to games even after he was severely affected by his Parkinsons disease. I sat with him a time or two. Just a really great guy.
There was a turning point in which we could have made a run. I believe we were down 47-41 when DH got fouled and it was reviewed. Instead of DD going to help DH, he shoved the Drake player right in front of the official. How stupid and selfish. So instead of going to the line with a possible 4 free throws and the ball, we now get 2 free throws and Drake gets 2 free throws and the ball. Converted that into 5 points. Game over. Discipline and we had very little of that. It was a home game for BU, crowd was 3-1 BU and we puked again. BW better hit the portal and find players over 5’5.
I have never know a more dysfunctional Network than ESPN Plus and the MVC Network. As a subscriber, nothing is easy. No games today, but we sure get to watch the IHSA girls. Come on conference, get something that everyone interested can watch. I can see it on my phone, but trying to get it anywhere else is a major task. Tired of it.
Speaking of the foul fest at Evansville, you should note that they got back into the game because one player started driving the lane out of control looking for contact to get the call and to the line. Tired of officials awarding players for initiating contact. Note that he was also the one who went to the line and shot free throws after the timeout when he wasn’t the one fouled.
Bradley should be able to have a great in/out game similar to what Purdue did with Zac Edy. Unfortunately we have a big man who is unable to catch the ball or puts the ball on the floor in that scenario. Having Meta in the game late with game on the line serves no purpose.
This Drake team is essentially the same Drake teams of old. They own the paint and they are physical. And the back door cut they used several times last night? DeVries used that play over and over with Sturtz and Ferguson. They don’t shoot the three or free throws as well, but they still get to the line with their aggressiveness. We do a great job in getting players with character, but we need to adapt to the aggressive styles from other teams. Seasons not over everyone, just a blimp. A home crowd and a win in Chi town against UIC will cure all ills.
I’m amazed how several Valley teams have “reloaded” this year. Namely ISU-B&R, Belmont, Valpo, NIU and of course Drake! Tough road games ahead for our Braves but our deep evolving bench will help.
Just how did we win this one? Never have I seen allowing over 30 3’s taken and being outshot from free throw line by 3-1 and still winning?! Glad to see the ref swallow his whistle at the end.
Sorry it is not my night. I just saw your post on him.

Many apologies. I have been running behind on the recruiting updates. My spreadsheet is getting closer to be updated.
Well - I'll give the Nehls stuff a rest. I've sent it out to some people I felt were very smart people and I'm getting a very flat response. Seems nobody wants to bring to light the truth of the matter of what the virus and vaxx are designed to do. That's fine. People are too afraid to face the hard cold truth. Maybe they quietly hope it's either wrong or that they aren't one of the worst affected. Hey - wanted to mention to ya I got an email from Todd DePinto aka Braves4Life from years ago. He had come across an old email talking about the JMP drama - so we got a little chuckle out of it. Anyway, he said he goes by PhiAlphaBoy now (I think is what he said). So that caught my interest and I went to the other board to see what those knotheads have been saying... and it's gone! Wow - when did that die? Funny how THAT board was supposed to be the one of reasonable posters... LOL! F'n pinheads. Anyway - hope all is well DC. Thanks again for providing such an incredible space for Bradley fans! Later- Evan
Hi DC. Hey - still curious on your thoughts regarding Nehls. But also - what's up with the Matt Salley news? Is it too sensitive because it will get political? If so, proves the sad state we are in that we are so divided over politics that we can't honestly discuss what actually happened and what we all had to live through.
DeVries is leaving Drake to go to W Va. His son is probably going to Creighton and many of the Drake players are leaving. Could be an opportunity for Bradley to pick up some good players.
Well, thanks for your sincere curiosity into the subject with Dr Nehls. Here's a link to an interview with Mike Adams. Nehls has done other interviews but this one seems to be quite complete in a thorough approach in trying to understand what he means by the indoctrinated brain. It's long. And it's complicated (at times, and maybe not to you). I'm also gonna send a link to a transcript to this interview (though some of the transcript has wrong words - musta been an AI program that misinterpreted the words (maybe it's Nehls German accent). Anyway - I found it useful but one can't rely on just reading the transcript. The first hour of the interview lays out the groundwork and explains a lot... then the next 30+ minutes it gets summed up and shown how this has happened with people from the everything going on. I appreciate you taking the time to check this out. Suppose I'm kinda looking for some validation. I've sent it to a couple friends/family and I'm kinda getting some lame responses. I feel it's partly because it's too complicated for them to accept for what is going on. Well... I look forward to your interpretation. Thanks!

Just a nugget here. Not sure how many ways there are to do this, but we have cable with dvr. We stream the Dave Snell call on another device. The tv is usually ahead of the streamed radio. I pause the live tv, match it up to the radio, best i can, and got the hometown call watching on tv.
Any thoughts regarding the fiasco at Northwestern? I think that the AD will also be removed, after listening to the Score 65 am this morning. I wonder if they would contact Chris Reynolds.
    Its on tnt....good game
what about the kid from Creighton, mitchell? He had Bradley in his final 4
