gonna have to update the list of offers that have been made public....

Mason Fuentes (was teammate of Gustavo Guimaraes in Florida)
Kingston Whitty - recently took visit to West Virginia
Dane Caldwell - just committed to Richmond
Kahuranaki Treacher - just committed to Oregon State
Braylon Roman
Lyris Robinson (2027) - LINK
Cooper Zachary (2027)
Quinton Kitt (2027)- now holds offers from Illinois DePaul and Iowa
Johnny Lackaff (2027)
Deuce McDuffie (2027)
Kahuranaki Treacher commits to Oregon State- LINK
other previous 2026 offers- Jerrin Samuel, Zens, Mason Lockett, Ryan Moesch, Miles Fleming, Dane Caldwell and Mason Blazer had all committed elsewhere

So here's the ones that are yet undecided, only three 2026 offers that we know of. (really only two since the offer to Roman was two years ago before he went juco and may not be a commitable offer)

Sure, there may be others, but looking like Coach is waiting to see what opens up in the spring.

2026- Mason Fuentes (was teammate of Gustavo Guimaraes in Florida)
2026- Kingston Whitty - recently took visit to West Virginia
2026-Braylon Roman

no offer yet, but Bradley is following one of the top scoring guards in Wisconsin,
Class of 2028 (just starting his sophomore year) at Living Word High School (Jackson, WI, suburb of Milwaukee) - 6-3 Jordan Evans
LINK

I know the portal changes things. However, waiting for nay more recruits until spring makes me nervous. We could be losing three big men next year, if you count Smith as a big man. No one knows if Thomas could get an extra year.

I know one problem for the staff is trying to determine how many scholarships will be available next year. Also they have to wonder what positions might open due to NIL.

Everyone in the business shares those concerns- coaches, fans...

First, I don't think Coach Wardle wants to get "caught" next spring with no open scholarships, because there will be a flood of talent hitting the portal. But if there was interest from a high level recruit, he'd have already offered them. I just think he wants to wait 'til after this
season, when he will know his needs better, then go after them in the portal. Maybe even if there's a top mid-season transfer.

But as we've documented, we lost players due to unexpected transfers every year, so you'd have to expect it might happen next spring.
The last time it did NOT happen was 1995!! The last time it was only one player was 2009 (Darian Norris),
and last year was unusual in that we only lost TWO (Biliew & Atlason). We've lost 3 or more in 8 of Brian Wardle's 10 seasons here,
and recently it's been a starter or key player every year.

And you're right, as that juco waiver was specifically stated as being a one time thing, with no guarantee it'll be available in 2026 for Thomas.IMG_4645 (1).jpeg

Way back in 2023, Bradley offered Normal Community High School’s Braylon Roman, a Class of 2024, 6-4 point guard.
Roman then went to Northwest Florida State College, where he is now getting renewed recruiting attention as a 2026 juco, having averaged nearly 10ppg & 3.2 apg last yr as a freshman there at FSWC. He did hold a Bradley offer but not sure he’s still on Bradley’s radar, but time will tell.

I all but had him crossed off the list when he took several visits according to a column just a couple weeks ago, but he only chose
to visit schools in Florida and southern Georgia (Mercer, Stetson, North Florida, Georgia Southern & considered Jacksonville)
It was pretty apparent he wanted to stay in the southeast.

So the list stays pretty limited for now and might stay that way 'til spring, unless there's more we don't know about...
Maybe we'll see some recruits at the game Thursday night.
