The full non-conference schedule has been released-
https://bradleybraves.com/news/2025...n-conference-schedule-for-2025-26-season.aspx

See other thread-
October 11, Sat.- Exhibition game at Green Bay
October 23, Thurs- Exhibition game vs. St. Louis at Carver Arena
October 25, Sat.- Bid for the Braves
Nov. 3- 10am (CST) vs. St. Bonaventure in Rock Hill, SC in the Field of 68 Opening Day Marathon
Nov. 8- Home game vs. Central Michigan
Nov. 11- Home game vs. UT-Martin
Nov. 15- at University of San Francisco- War Memorial Gym
Nov. 19- Home game vs. UMass-Lowell
Nov. 24- ESPN Events- Terry's Chocolate - vs. Princeton, 6pm Central Time (
Bracket)

Nov. 25- TBD
Nov. 26- TBD
Dec. 2- Home game vs. Washington State
Dec. 6- Home game vs. Northern Illinois

Only one true road game- at San Francisco
4 neutral site games- 3 in the Terry's Chocolate event, plus the St. Bonaventure game.
5 home games, plus one home exhibition game.
And a couple notable things-
The UT-Martin game, which was originally reported to be on Nov. 12, is now listed as Nov. 11-
And the Northern Illinois game, which we were guessing might be at Northern Illinois, is instead a home game for Bradley. This makes two years in a row that Northern Illinois will have visited Bradley. So, could this be a two-for-one deal? If so, then maybe Bradley will play at Northern Illinois next season.

or maybe they're just very willing to come play buy games and draw 6-7,000

and the Saint Louis game, even though an exhibition, will be intense and may be the best, can't-miss game of the season.

The Washington State game in Peoria is on Tuesday Dec. 2, and Bradley should be well rested having last played
six days earlier and returned from Florida (one time zone away)

Washington State however has to fly out to Hawaii, crossing 3 time zones for 3 games out there....
and will be returning from Lahaina, Maui, and will have to cross three time zones again to get back to
Pullman, Washington, then board a flight again, possibly making connections and cross two more time zones
to get to Peoria. Wonder how that will affect them. Plus their next game is back in Pullman.
So in that 2-week span they will be travelling >13,000 miles.

Why does the non conference end so early this season (December 6th)? I thought conference play starts typically around the end of the year.
Usually there are one or two conference games in mid-December.

There are only ten non-con games scheduled which means a total of 30 games. Could it be another game will be scheduled for after the one or two MVC games are played (maybe a non-D1 team)? I'm just speculating here.

The Bradley announcement was accompanied by an image of four Bradley players (see below).
Though Coach Wardle has probably not made any final decisions yet, those 4 will be contending for starting spots for Bradley this season.
Jaquan Johnson and Ahmet Jonovic appear to be locks for the starting lineup. And both Alex Huibregtse and A.J. Smith started every game for their teams last season (Huibregtse 32 of 32 games at Wright State & Smith 32 of 32 games at James Madison). So it will be hard to exclude them for this season's starting five. And, Demarion Burch and Corey Thomas both played well enough at times last year to believe they could be in the mix as starters for the Braves. So, the decisions will be difficult for the coaches. It might depend on whether Coach Wardle needs to go with more size or better defense against St. Bonaventure in game 1 versus experience or offense.
I don't see any of the terrific BU freshman class starting immediately. Coach Wardle has only started two Bradley players in the majority of games as true freshmen since Darrell Brown in 2016-17-- Connor Hickman (started 23 of 31 games in 2021-22) and Almar Atlason (started 19 of 35 games in 2023-24).
Who do others think will be the starters in Game 1?

DC - here are my early predictions for our starting 5 on Nov. 3:

Meta
AJ
Quanny
O-Show
Timo

First off bench:
Alex H
CT

Most used Freshman in non-conf:
Zo

I look fw to seeing Wheels and Bully on the floor at the same time with their play-making ability and strong defense on the perimeter.

I highly doubt Timo starts. I would guess Meta, CT, AJ, Burch and Bully.

It's more telling to me who starts later in the season, but I'll hazard this guess for 11/5 based on positions and experience:
Quanny
Meta
Burch
A.H.
A.J.

I could see CT in there for AJ, but I just don't see Meta and CT playing together... could be dead wrong.

LB, you have AJ in both the starting lineup and as "First off the bench". I suspect one of them was meant to be Alex Hubregtse. Which one?

It's doubtful yes. I just wanted it to be different than everyone else's...tho maybe someone thinks the same.
I don't think it's out of the question as Timo started 2 of the NIT games last season and held his own. I met him over the summer and he seems very coachable, likeable, and strong desire to improve...he's been kinda quiet this summer, but maybe he's made strides...hoping for big things for Timo10!

It's very nice coach Wardle scheduled an exhibition against St.Louis! It will be Fun to see Robbie Avila back at Carver! Plus Coach Josh S.who always had high praise for Bradley 🏀!

Saint Louis lost a ton from last year despite still having Avila, but one of the reasons he thrived was because
they had numerous other high percentage shooting options. Not so sure they have that this year - but we'll see.

Bradley’s 2025 Itoo Hall Spaghetti Supper is Wednesday October 8
Announcement coming soon, altho there’s a possibility of a last minute change.
