@TheD1Docket has gone live with his annual spreadsheets in which he updates schools' schedules when they are released. He's released the upcoming season's spreadsheets and the MVC spreadsheet can be found here:

Disregard the "2024-25" in the link above. The link goes to the '25-'26 schedules.

Some scheduling news in the MVC-

Drake will play in a pretty good 4-team tournament, The Emerald Coast Classic, Nov. 28-29 in Destin, Florida. The other 3 teams are DePaul, Georgia Tech, and LSU. Drake will play LSU in the first round.

Drake will also play a neutral site game this season with UAB.

Murray State will play in the Cayman Islands Classic, Nov. 23-25 with Middle Tennessee, George Washington, and McNeese State, in a round robin format.

Murray State will also play in the Jack Jones Classic in Henderson, Nevada, Dec. 13, against Akron. Bradley played in last year's Jack Jones Classic against Santa Clara.

The D1 Docket website has the known schedule for every MVC team-

Illinois State to play Utah State on Saturday, Dec. 13 in the Delta Center in Salt Lake City. LINK
It is billed as a neutral site game. Utah State (Logan, Utah) is just 80 miles from the Delta Center, while Illinois State is about 1,400 miles away.

I have heard that contacts have been made and Marquette isn't interested.
No surprise that they pick the weakest program in the MVC for a buy game.

not sure if mentioned but ISU plays an early season exhibition game at Northwestern Wed. Oct 29

Yes, this one is a little unusual... Illinois State and Northwestern will play each other in preseason exhibition games in 2025 and 2026.
The game this year will be Oct. 29, 2025 at Northwestern. Then in 2026, Northwestern will visit Illinois State for a return exhibition game.
Northwestern obviously too scared to play an actual real game against an MVC team.
Note that the NCAA recently changed the rules regarding exhibition games, and now D1 teams can play up to 2 exhibitions against any 4-year school, including other D1 teams. Previously, D1 teams could play another D1, but it required an appeal and a waiver from the NCAA, plus all proceeds had to go to a charity. Those stipulations are now gone.

ISU is 3-2 all time vs Northwestern, winning the last game in 2013. Northwestern also has Iowa State for their other exhibition game.

Here's Northwestern Univ. release about the home-and-home exhibition games - LINK

Just a matter of time before the number of games allowed per season is increased from 29 to 31 (no in-season tournament) and 31 to 33 (includes in-season tournament) and these exhibitions become official games.

JMO, obviously.
