I love this guy. As a Cards fan I was really bummed when he signed the extension in Chicago. Hopefully someday he'll be sportin his hometown birds on the bat before he retires.

Kind of lame in my opinion. Why even play if your intentions aren't to win. From the opponents perspective, I'm there to win fair and square not because someone let me win. A real smack in the face to the competitive nature of sports.
WOW talk about refs blowing one for the little guys. First a lane violation that is never called then they don't even review the last play to put more time on the clock. CBS never showed a replay, but I thought there should have been about 0.9 seconds left a big difference from the 0.3 they left.

Just left Markin and the Oral Roberts basketball team was going into Haussler. I saw on their schedule the player WIU tomorrow night. Is it common for teams to stop at other schools besides their opponents for shoot arounds? I just thought this was kind of different.

Anybody know who selects the contestants? I think CR could put on a show for the rest of the country and ESPN could do a peice about "the heave." Seems like I remember players from "mid-major" schools being on there the last few years so maybe he's got a chance.
