My two sporting passions are the White Sox and Bradley basketball. I like the Bears, and the Bulls, but I don't spend time or money going to many of their games. I want them to win, but it doesn't affect me too much one way or the other.

After sitting through that miserable 72 win season this summer I started looking forward to basketball season in about June. UIC was a bad omen. This really stinks. Winter is depressing but watching BU has been more so. That plus I left my BU trading cards under my seat. I didn't expect a national title but 0-3 in the MVC against three bad teams is a real kick in the groin. What do I have to look forward to? The Play In round in STL? Work? Should I take up skiing? And why no "Frisbee Dog"?

Well my life is okay I just gotta keep things in perspective and with that I think I'll have another cold one tonight. Thanks for letting me vent.

I'm with ya. This absolutely ruins my wintertime and makes me reassess what my priorities really should be. I hate having to reassess. Why can't we just win?

Cheer up everyone. Quick Change is on the way.

I'm sick of quick change. It was cool about the first 4-5 times I saw it. Now it's boring. Bring back Frisbee dogs or the lady who threw bowls from her foot to her head while balancing on a 15 foot high unicycle.

I've been trying to avoid Bradley basketball, except for the games, just so I don't ruin my whole weekend or week. It's killing me watching BU lose to such average teams. I just hope Ruffin makes it back for the ISU game.

That song is wierd, but unmistakable. I remember a few years back I was at a Bulls game, and my friend and I went out to get concessions at half-time. We heard that music start up, and both of us just looked at each other then yelled it's the lady on the unicycle who balances the bowls, as we had seen her at the BU game a couple of weeks earlier. I think the other people in line at the concession stand thought we were crazy. They were probably right.

Alright VFan. Sox and Braves. Me too. Don't worry too much about the Sox. Major Leaguers make too much money for me to worry if they win or lose. Still follow them closely and get to a few games here in Arizona. The Braves though are my passion. I've sat through many bad years, but couldn't wait to get to the next game, win or lose. Keep cheering these kids on, they appreciate it and they know how disappointed everyone is. Don't make it worse on them.

I'm with you. I like Sim Cycle and I think the dog act should always end with one of the pooches taking a deuce at center court!:)

By the way, how about halftime Sat. night? I don't EVER remeber a halftime with NO program at all.

This could be the next halftime promotion:

Bobcat suit vs Guy with sandals

Its no Frisbee dog, but think of the possibilities...
