Carver Arena

I never got to experience a game at the Fieldhouse, and I'm sure it was amazing, but I love going to Carver. Granted I don't have to deal with the packed in seats and I don't have the money to spend on concessions but I love being in the front row of the student section.

One thing that is overlooked in these comparisons is the area surrounding the arena. To me thats a big part of the entire experience. Carver is easy to get to and offers many good choices before and after the game...at least thats what people that go to those places tell me. 8)

Yes, lots of churches for praying and banks for getting all that money you're going to hand over to the BU basketball program!

Sometimes Hoops feels like a dungeon ... especially when they've got one waitress catering to the whole of the BU fan base and you can't get a beer to save your life ...

At home I have some low quality cell phone pics of the whiteout... I can put em up when I get home if you want, but they kinda suck...

Sure . . . would love to see em. Thx!

I have always liked the smaller, more intimate college arenas. Creightons looks nice, though i have not been there, but I love the arenas like Cameron Indoor, Marylands Cole Fieldhouse and NC States old Reynolds Coliseum over the new, huge arenas

OK...after looking at that great pic ONE thing bothers me. RIVERMAN HOCKEY. :-o

Is Carver the HOME of THE BRADLEY BRAVES when we play there or what?

How about a sign that can be rolled out over the Hockey sign when BU is playing. Perhaps I'm being picky but its these small attentions toward detail that irk me.

IF someone shows that pic on the Valley talk board that will be the first thing someone notices and comments on. We allready recieve enough criticism becuase we are a multi purpose arena....why promote it?

That is a nice pic.

I spotted myself and Tornado.

Can tell it was 3 pics put together.

Since I was on the opposite end of the arena than this photographer, I guess I should have taken pics of that end of the arena to show the Bradley Banners... especially the unveiling that night of the Sweet 16.

Yeah, that could have easily been fixed if the guy was taking the pictures from the other side of the arena, so he would get the Bradley flags, ect. I agree though, it would be nice if the Rivermen stuff was covered up when the BB game was going on.

I can't imagine how you could spot me, you got pretty good eyes.
I also can see Da Coach quite clearly on the same side you are on (left), and can make out a few other people once you know where they are sitting and that you can get an excellent enlargement of the picture by clicking on it.
