MVC games Tuesday 2/20

Bradley has the chance to finish either tied for 3rd with Missouri State, or possibly even finish in 3rd all by themselves.
I would like to see Missouri State lose their final 2 games and BU win their final two.
Then BU would be 11-7, and Missouri State 10-8.
The best Wichita State can do if they win their final two is 10-8.
 
Don't sleep on the Redbirds tonight.

They match-up pretty well with Creighton. If they can keep Tolliver in check they will win this game.

Expect the 'Birds to come out geeked up on Senior Night. Big game for Dilligard in his Redbird Arena finale.

tall order, but good luck birds.
 
We definitely want WSU to win tonight. If we can take care of business in our two home games, then we end up tied for 3rd with MSU in the standings assuming they then beat Drake at home. It will be a lot easier for the committee to take us over them as the 3rd Valley team if we are tied in the standings with them.
 
I almost want MSU and Bradley to tie for 3rd because Bradley gets the recognition, but we still don't have to face Creighton in the semis. I agree wth what a few people have said that we don't match up well with CU and knocking off SIU could be a nice accomplishment.
 
I like our chances against Creighton in the Valley tournament.
We can beat Creighton, we did last year in the tourney first round.

Oh don't get me wrong, I think we can beat CU, I just think we have a better chance against SIU. That and watching Nate Funk play makes me angry (part envy, part pure hatred).
 
The end of season scenario where BU finishes alone at 3rd (already half played out with Drake beating WSU to give us 4th place) has turned me into some kind of unholy Drake fan. Now we just need to take care of business and get a miracle win by Drake over MSU. :)
