Ray Brown

Is Ray Brown allowed to practice with the team? If so, have any of you heard how he looks. I understand JF looks awesome, but I've heard nothing about Ray.

I have not been to any practices, but Ray's suspension does allow him to practice and be with the team. He cannot play or travel with the team (just as Will and POB could practice but not play or travel early last season when they served suspensions), but he can participate in other team activities.

I have heard that he is improved offensively and defensively, and looks good. He should be a valuable player next year.

I think he's suspended for the entire season because he tested positive for drug use. (marajuana, I think). When the story first broke, I think he was really sorry he let down his team for doing that.

He would have been a valuable player for us this year, especially with the injury to JC. Let's hope DA and Andrew Warren can fill the void until JC returns.

I saw him practicing a little after a women's game I went to. He looked pretty good to me.

Persoanlly I would have thought that the women "looked better"

hahhahaha.

He was out on the court in the fieldhouse with Saihou Jassey. Jassey had some nice moves... it'd be really nice for him to be able to give us some quality minutes.

If quality minutes only required athletic ability, Jassey would probably be starting or be the 6th man. Unfortunately, an understanding of the game is necessary, and Jassey lacks that in a major way.
