gotta wonder that these four kids who were at, signed or verbaled to Nebraska will reopen and consider Bradley!
Akenten in particular is one that the Nebraska fans suspect wants out - https://www.omaha.com/huskers/mens-b...c70aa1928.html

indeed - former big time Bradley recruiting target Nana Akenten has announced he will leave Nebraska and transfer
I hope we get back in on him!!!
https://www.bradleyfans.com/forum/sp...7-nana-akenten

Bradley offered him on this date- https://twitter.com/brookhoops/status/752570021478539265

2020 guard Donovan Williams, who Bradley has been recruiting for a few months and who was offered, just committed to University of Nebraska. He is from Lincoln, Nebraska.
tough break for former Bradley recruit Donovan Williams - last night in an AAU game he tore his left knee ACL..
He will have surgery later this month and obviously be out for at least 6 months but his entire senior high school season may be in jeopardy.
He had not yet met with new head coach Fred Hoiberg but was still holding his commitment to Nebraska.

Bradley is recruiting Class of 2020 6-2 guard Jamie Bergens of Team BBC 17U Select
He is from the Netherlands but currently playing AAU ball in Washington DC area

A new name-
2019 juco recruit Brian Tolefree- he is a 6'5" athletic combo guard originally from Eudora High School in Lawrence, Kansas. He also played at a prep school, then enrolled at Neosho Community College in Chanute, Kansas. He was injured in his first game for Neosho his freshman season in 2017-18 after scoring 16 points. He got a redshirt for the 2017-18 season, and just finished his second season there. He averaged 16.4 ppg (17.1 ppg in the Jayhawk Conference games) and 4.1 rpg, and shot 32% from three this season, and was voted on to the 1st team All Jayhawk Conference.

So he has 3 years of eligibility left at Division I.
He has several offers-

He looks like he is very athletic, well built, nice shot with a quick release, and handles the ball well for a big guard.

Valpo could offer plenty of playing time. ISU Red could also offer a lot of playing time. Since his coach left and he is transferring, I am assuming that he would still have to sit out a yer after transferring.

Yes, Akenten would need to sit out a year unless he received an NCAA waiver. And he would probably get a ton of playing time at any of those schools listed as recruiting him (Buffalo, Towson, Illinois State, Bradley, Valpo, Eastern Illinois, Dayton, Toledo, & Wisconsin Green Bay). It may come down to whether he simply wants playing time, or if he wants to play for a team that will be a winner and have a chance to make it to the NCAA Tournament. He may also prefer to play at the highest level (Dayton) or closer to home (Bradley or ISU).

New name - Terry Nolan - transfer from George Washington - is visiting Bradley next week
6-2 sophomore shooting guard - originally from Baltimore area - averaged 10.9 ppg, 4.6 rpg, 2 asst, 1 steal
hits 35% from 3-pt
https://gwsports.com/roster.aspx?rp_id=589

George Washington transfer Terry Nolan, Jr. is scheduled to be visiting Bradley Monday through Wednesday of next week, or possibly sooner. He is being pursued by a number of other D1 programs (TCU, Nebraska, Coppin State, Murray State, Washington State & Butler among others).
Go BU! :)

He would have to sit out 1 year with a transfer and would have 2 years left to play.

Koch Bar's friend Chol Marial is still available... just sayin'

I would hope we are still in the running for Chol Marial, but I suspect we are not...
Because of injuries and long stretches of being unable to play - he has dropped in the rankings.
A couple years ago he was ranked #1 in the Class of 2019 but now he is #131 - https://www.zagsblog.com/2019/04/27...maryland-targeting-decision-in-next-few-weeks

He is reportedly going to decide in the next couple weeks

...

another 2019 kid, Chase Adams, currently at Link Year Prep - just played against Southwestern Illinois College, a very solid juco program that
has won 7 in a row and is 10-3, and Adams went for 25 pts, 10 assists and had 30 & 8 in a prior game.
just verballed to Portland

Terry Nolan, Jr. visiting Bradley today thru Wednesday- and I suspect he will receive a solid offer...
if you watch some video or look at his stats - he is kind of reminiscent of DLO - especially his jump-stop moves...
..and I think the coaches will love him..
He even has a very DLO-like nickname - "TNo" - https://twitter.com/gw_mbb/status/1073736607151185921
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SwmieM1lVko
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PHEGRWBUpZM

Quick look at his stats, he scored just 1.5 more points per game his sophomore season over his freshman season. But he did so in fewer minutes per game and more attempts per game meaning he had a larger role in the offense as a sophomore. He shot a higher percentage on threes while also attempting more per game. However his 2 pt field goal percentage dropped 12%. So I could see him being a much better player than he showed last year just by bouncing back a little bit on his inside the arc shooting. Watching video of him, he seems to be a strong athlete. All in all, he is a quality guard I think.

2019 Devan Cambridge- 6'5" high-scoring, super athletic shooting guard who played this last season at Hillcrest Prep in Phoenix, the same prep school Stephan Gabriel started at. He previously played at Believe Prep in Athens, Tennessee.
