Trivia Contest

It's a slow period so I thought I'd liven it up a bit.
There are two questions, you have to post the correct answers in respone in this thread and the first with ALL THREE correct answers gets a prize similar to the ones given away for the Pick-em contests, a gift certificate for a local restaurant!

Here we go.

1) We all know BU recruit Xavier Crawford is playing for Yuba College, and their nickname is the 49ers.
But what's the nickname for the local high school there in Yuba, Yuba City High?

2) When Matt Roth was a freshman, Washington High School had a fine year, and finished 21-9, winning their sectional in Kevin Brown's first year as head coach.
But they would have been even better had it not been for the loss of their best player by transfer two years earlier, who would have been a senior at Washington when Matt was a freshman. Both Matt and this other player ended up being All Area PJ Star selections in 2005.

3) What present Bradley basketball player led his junior high school team to 4th Place in the State when he was in 7th grade AND the 8th grade STATE CHAMPIONSHIP when he was an 8th grader?

Nice try Braveman, but you do not have 3 correct answers.
By the way, Jeremy Crouch did help his 7th grade team to a State title, but his 8th grade team fell short.

Mike-- if you can supply any proof that JJ Tauai fits the details I require for the right answer, I will award you the prize, but he is not the player I am thinking of.

By the way, even tho at least one of the other answers has not yet been identified correctly, the first question, the Yuba City Honkers, do indeed have a very unique nickname.
I would love to see their mascot.

Just being lazy, T. I assumed 2 of the 3 were correct and just guessed at the 3rd.

Since I cannot find anywhere the results of Missouri junior high basketball playoffs, you could be right.
I just need to see the evidence.

By the way, one other BU great led his junior high to a state championship that I know of, and there may be others.
Roger Phegley as a 7th grader led his East Peoria Central Junior High to the 1969 "Lightweight: Championship (the then equivalent of 7th grade). In 1970, East Peoria didn't get out of their sectional, as they lost to Pekin Edison, who went on to win the state title in the 1970 Heavyweight division.
Roger also helped East Peoria Central JHS win one state title in baseball, also.
